Will you support Bill Deweese or John Perzel for Speaker? -
I would like to see more openness and transparency than in today's political environment, and this may require new leadership.
What is your stance on School Choice? -
I believe in school choice, because I believe that competition with the public school system will lead to improvement. Our children learn best in an environment where the teacher is motivated, up-to-date with current teaching practices, and willing to work, and I believe that school choice will assist in promoting such an environment.
Name one program you'd vote to cut or eliminate –
I wish to generally eliminate waste and fraud in all government programs.
Name one program you'd vote to expand or impliment -
I would like to expand our effort to build and maintain our roads and general infrastructure, as this state cannot have a business-friendly environment without a road system to support it. I believe our bridges need to be repaired and upgraded, and the events last year in Minneapolis are a wake-up call. Route 309 needs to be expanded in our area to support the amount of usage it receives and to lessen traffic congestion in our area. Traffic lights need to be installed at certain busy intersections to enhance safety.

Email. Yes.
I'm gonna disagree and consider Gary Day over Cerullo. I like Cerullo. I even know him. My wife will probably vote for him, he is a fine guy, but in my mind, I need someone with experience in government to fill that State position. I regularly call on Mantz for some rather odd things, such as, visibility in Pennsylvania Natural Diversity Inventory for our sewer plant review, assitance with volunteer loan program for fire companies, road inventories through PennDOT,issues with PADEP, stuff well beyond any pending legislative bill. Mantz has been invaluable. Gary's experience in government, admittedly via the Heydt administration, (but I wont blame him for that), can only help us.
April 22 will be here before you know it. I have met Alan and think he would be a good choice. I met Gary briefly, but don't know much about him other than some things I've heard from Allentown Council. Totally different game than Harrisburg. I know his wife's family better than him, and they are rock solid. I think it would be good for all to schedule about three debates, on some topics of interest to the district. First three weeks in April..one in NW lehigh area, one in NWhitehall, and one in Berks area..maybe a candidates night in upper mac..what say you? I have no horse in this race, since I live in the 183rd but would be happy to help. NVlogic? Teena, Dawn?

I'd be willing to arrange it. Would you be willing to moderate? You'd be great neutral (if you could limit your own speech;-)
Be happy to do it. Helped do one for Allentown city candidates last October. Too many candidates for too many different seats though (controller, city council, school board). But it went well. Big district the 187th. We need three. And time needs to be at least an hour, preferably ninety minutes. When I ran for commissioner we had about five for the primary, and at least four with the Dems...one at Emmaus, one at LCCC, one at Jewish Community Center, and another one in Allentown sponsored by Taxpayers Limitation committee (AKA Brinson). I'll give you a pass on limiting speech... because you're family! Candidates for the House need to have a live forum as well. I see LCCC, NOVA in NWH or Schnecksville Fire Company as a good site, perhaps a fire hall in NW area, someplace in Kutztown or Topton, and one in Upper Mac.
Marc
What weight does an endorsement from Julian Stolz have? This guy has very little clout in the GOP and not much in the community outside of Emmaus.
I think these debates arre a great idea and i would Live blog them. I would accept questions online for the candidates.
