I like the idea of newspaper columnists doing live blog chats, where everyday folks can ask questions.
I've taken lunch at odd times just to participate and follow live blog chats from columnists at the the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Washington Post, and it is tough to participate at times, because of the numbers of people trying to participate.
Bill White is just starting out, and while it has been fun, it has been limited to the same old faces. So if you want to get involved in how the news media works in this Internet day and age, hop by Bill White at noon tomorrow (THURSDAY 4/30), and chime in. The topic might be furry puppies, it might be Chrin landfill, or it might be Northampton County Government. (Those last two have a lot in common, Chrin landfill and Northampton County Government) They might even discuss who should be nominated for his Hall of Fame.
So stop by and check it out between noon and 1 PM.
UPDATE: The Live Chat is Thursday, I originally wrote this Tuesday night for posting today, and changed my mind, but forgot to change the context of the text. My bad!
